About Me

I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I currently reside in Columbia, MO as a student at the University of Missouri. I am working towards my bachelor's degree in journalism with dual emphases in reporting + writing and cross-platform editing + producing, as well as a minor in political science. Although I am an undergraduate student at MU, I am simultaneously earning my masters degree, graduating with both my bachelor's and masters degrees in May 2025. I currently work as a city/county government assistant city editor for the Columbia Missourian.

“Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air."
