About Me

I am working toward a bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Missouri with dual emphases in reporting + writing and cross-platform editing + producing, as well as a minor in political science. Although I am a third-year student at MU, I will graduate with my bachelor's degree in May 2024 and my master's degree in May 2025, which has an emphasis of data and investigative journalism.

I currently work as an Assistant City Editor for City/County Government at the Columbia Missourian. I also serve as President of MU's Society of Professional Journalists.

“Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air."

Henry Grunwald
